Grandpa is so crazy!

Abigail came up to me yesterday and said "Grandpa is so crazy" I asked her why and this is what she said. I don't know where she got that from.

Are you sure your not the Easter Bunny?

Jacob asked me about 3 times every day for 3 days straight if I was the Easter Bunny. I finally told him that if I was the Easter Bunny I wouldn't have put a Reese peanut butter egg in MaKayla's basket because I know she dosen't like peanut butter. Hopefully that will take care of any doubts he had. Before Zach and I were out of bed Jacob and MaKayla were busy looking for their eggs. I told them they had to wait for Abigail to wake up. We had a fun morning. After church we had Ryan, Emily and their kids over for dinner and then the kids decorated cookies. Each of the kids got a new Easter outfit. I think that they were the best dressed kids at church.

Happy St. Patricks Day! MaKayla finally lost her two front teeth. They have been loose for about a month now. She let me pull out one on Saturday and she pulled out the other one today. She was happy that they were finally gone.

Escape from Michigan

Zach and I wanted to get out of town, so we called his sister Mariah in Illinois and made plans to escape. Of course we had to take all of the kids with us but it was nice just to have a change of scenery. We had a great weekend. The sun was actually out the entire time we were there. We got to spend time with family and Jess and Allison and their kids.


I took these picture on the drive to Illinois. I'm not sure why Jacob had his shrit off but they looks so cute cuddling while watching a movie. Abigail looks like a deer in the headlights.
